Job Description

As a Junior Loan Servicer, you will support borrowers through loan servicing inquiries, provide clear guidance on payments and payoff options, and maintain accurate loan records. You'll combine customer service excellence with process discipline to ensure a smooth, compliant, and positive borrower experience.

  • The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in loan servicing, preferably in a team leader or SME capacity
  • Strong customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to handle inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech-savvy, with high proficiency in software applications including AI-implemented omnichannel solutions
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Your Daily Tasks

  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing borrower inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively
  • Engage with borrowers via inbound and outbound calls to assist with loan servicing inquiries
  • Make occasional outbound calls for accounts 15 days past due, focusing on borrower assistance rather than collections
  • Proactively contact borrowers nearing loan maturity to discuss payment arrangements and payoff options
  • Utilize AI-enabled omnichannel tools to manage customer interactions and loan servicing workflows
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of borrower interactions and update loan servicing systems accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex borrower issues or escalations
  • Stay current with loan servicing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve the borrower experience and enhance servicing processes
