Multi-Trade Operative - Ilford, East London - £38,000 to £40,000 DOE

My client, a successful and established Property Management firm are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader (Property Maintenance) to join their busy maintenance department, working across residential properties in London.
This role is ideal for a hands-on multi-trader with strong experience in domestic property maintenance, capable of completing a wide range of reactive and planned repairs to a high standard.
As a field-based Multi-Trader, you will attend occupied and vacant properties across London, carrying out maintenance works including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, patch plastering, and minor tiling. You will work closely with their office-based repairs team and fellow trades to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and right first time.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Carpentry works including replacing doors, floor replacement, worktop replacement, fitting fires doors, etc.
• General residential maintenance including basic plumbing and electrics
• Kitchen repairs and replacements
• Bathroom repairs and replacements
• Skills in tiling, joinery, decorating and general handyman work

Key Requirements
In order to carry out this role the successful candidate will require the below:

• Full Driving licence
• DBS check (will be completed prior to commencement of employment)
• Own tools to carry out basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry works
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to work unsupervised

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day - field based
