Job Description

As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be directly responsible for executing and managing inventory assets in a designated geographic region to support revenues and product assortment objectives.

The Qualifications We Seek

3 to 5 years of relevant work experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite Oracle is an asset

1-2 years of inventory control experience is an asset

Committed to learning and applying the client's values and ways of working

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess data objectively

Ability to prioritize effectively and develop creative, workable solutions

Strong communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams toward shared goals

Your Daily Tasks

Support all administrative activity within the department to ensure electronic and physical inventory accuracy is maintained throughout the year at all distribution centers and retail stores.

Support client product strategy by monitoring and reconciling all inventory movement to maintain the integrity of our systems.

Deliver accurate and timely reports and post-mortems, summarizing insights to identify opportunities and support decision making.

Assist with annual product life cycle events to ensure their success such as year-end inventory counts and warehouse sales.

Collaborate with Finance to ensure updated and accurate records of inventory are maintained and support the Retail and eCommerce teams to ensure inventory is planned and managed on the back end to support client demand.

Work closely with the transportation team to collect data on freight costs.

Manage freight costing and ensure the accuracy of freight-related information in NetSuite.

Offer insights and perform analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Provide diverse analyses to assist management in achieving department goals.

Support ad-hoc requests and projects as needed.
