Case ɫèֱ Equipment has appointed EMH Plant as its dealer for the Northeast and North Yorkshire.

EMH Plant Limited was incorporated in October 2024 with Ian Phillips, a former Molson sales manager, listed as sole director.

Companies House filings show that EMH Plant Limited is ultimately owned by Chester Corney and Tom Carr, co-directors of TCC Plant, which has made huge profits leasing machinery to contractors on the Teesworks site.

Chester Corney and Tom Carr, both in their twenties, are the son and son-law, respectively, of Martin Corney, one of the owners of Teesworks Ltd.

TCC Plant is probably the UK’s most profitable plant hire company, making a pre-tax profit of £9.8m in the year to 31st March 2024 on just £24.5m turnover.

Valentina Versino, Case ɫèֱ Equipment business director for UK and Ireland, said: “I’m proud to welcome EMH in our family. This new dealership, led by a young and forward-thinking team, represents a further step in Case’s renewed strategy toward proximity-based service with a stronger focus on customer support and full life-cycle of our machines. EMH fully reflects our proactive approach to customers and our commitment to sustainable, long-term growth in the Northeast and North Yorkshire.”

EMH Plant director Ian Phillips said: "Being appointed as the authorised Case ɫèֱ Equipment dealer for the Northeast and North Yorkshire is a huge milestone for EMH Plant. Our focus is simple: to back every machine sale with fast reliable service & genuine parts.

“We’re building a dealership that’s easy to do business with – knowledgeable people, strong stock availability, and a team that genuinely cares about long term customer support.”
