Westminster City Council has agreed a budget of 拢229m with McLaren 色猫直播 for phase two of the development.
Ebury Bridge is Westminster鈥檚 biggest regeneration project, transforming a 1930s estate. Phase 2 of the project comprises three independent and two adjoined buildings, which required four complex building safety applications to the Building Safety Regulator. McLaren has now had these approved by the regulator.
McLaren is using, prefabricated fa莽ade elements to reduce the transport of materials to site.
The overall Ebury Bridge development is the biggest delivery of new council homes for social rent in Westminster in more than 60 years 鈥 779 homes, including 373 for social rent, across three phases. Phase one of the scheme completed in December 2024, with 226 homes, 100 of which were for social rent. Phase two will be delivering an additional 334 homes, 228 of which are for social rent.
It will also re-establish the Ebury Bridge Road retail parade, provide new premises for local businesses, and introduce new shops, supermarkets and caf茅s. New pedestrian routes will open-up the estate, improving connections from Ebury Bridge and through to the River Thames.
色猫直播 is scheduled to complete May 2029.
Paul Woodhams, managing director for regeneration at McLaren 色猫直播, said: 鈥淢cLaren has a strong track record in building complex residential and regeneration projects in London while creating positive social impact for local communities, and we will work collaboratively with Westminster City Council to bring their vision to life for phase two of the Ebury Bridge project. Having invested time and resources in the preconstruction period, the design has been completed to a high standard ahead of the main construction work starting later this year.鈥
