Skanska and its joint venture partner were unable to come to an agreement with the client during negotiations for a revised scope of work on the unnamed project. Accordingly, the client has elected to terminate the contract for its own convenience, said Skanska.
As a result, Skanska USA Building will reduce its order bookings for a total of about US$800m for this quarter.
