Queen Mary University of London has appointed Willmott Dixon as main contractor for a 拢48.8m project to redevelop its flagship School of Business & Management in Tower Hamlets.
The planned 6,700 sqm seven-storey building, Nicholas Hare Architects, will replace current premises that are deemed no longer fit for purpose.
Willmott Dixon鈥檚 work will also improve public spaces around the site, including landscaped terraces and dedicated green spaces.聽
Complete is due in 2027.
This latest contract follows work secured in 2024 to extend Queen Mary鈥檚 Informatics & Technology Learning building in Bethnal Green.聽 This involves Willmott Dixon delivering a whole building retrofit and extension, including adding two storeys above the original property.
