II.2.4) Description of the procurement
River Clyde Homes is seeking to appoint a highly competent and experienced contractor to undertake the operation and maintenance of the biomass boilers, pumps, and associated pipework at the Broomhill, Cartsdyke, and Eastern View Energy Centres in Inverclyde.
The successful bidder will also be responsible for the additional services at four other sites. Broadstone Gardens, John Gault House, Kilblain Court and Riverside Gardens.
The works will include the monitoring of each system, conducting regular inspections of the plant, reactive and planned maintenance and biomass fuel supply.
A detailed specification for the works required is provided at Appendix E.
The bidders shall be deemed to have satisfied themselves before tendering as to the plant to be serviced and the conditions under which the work is to be carried out.
