Thurston Group is one of the longest-standing and highest performing modular and portable building designers and manufacturers in the UK.

We supply some of the country’s most reputable businesses in the construction, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, residential, sport and leisure, and defence and custodial sectors.

From consultancy and design to build and installation, we offer a turnkey modular and portable building solution for every sector. And we’re proud to be certified 色猫直播line Gold.

With over three factories across Hull and Wakefield, we have an annual capacity of 5,000 units. We’ll work with you on creating bespoke designs to suit your individual needs and, with our finance partners, we can provide flexible finance solutions for your projects.

Our modular and portable buildings are manufactured offsite at our production facilities, so your construction isn’t impacted by weather changes or other site issues. Utilising BIM and a controlled manufacturing process, we build to a much higher standard than a traditional build.

We also undertake a strict quality control process throughout the entire process ensuring we deliver high-quality, sustainable products. From the design stage, we monitor and improve quality through the RIBA Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), providing guidance to the design team in simplifying the product structure. This reduces costs, improves efficiency, and quantifies improvements.

Not only does this help reduce waste and improve sustainability, but it also improves the quality of the build. Nothing leaves our factory unless it’s been signed off and approved, meaning durable, lifetime buildings.

Our Foundations

Thurston group was founded in West Yorkshire in 1970, and we now employ more than 350 people across our three sites.
