As a
Business Analyst, you will support U.S. mortgage operations by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements with a strong emphasis on
Jira-based technical documentation. You will work closely with stakeholders and IT teams to translate mortgage workflows, compliance requirements, and operational requests into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.

The Qualifications We Seek
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in U.S. mortgage operations, with strong exposure to end-to-end mortgage workflows (origination to closing)
Demonstrated business analysis experience in a mortgage or lending environment, including translating operational needs into clear requirements
Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation, such as process flows, user stories, requirements, and operational guidelines
Hands-on experience with Encompass LOS, including navigating, analyzing, and supporting mortgage-related processes
Experience using Jira to document requirements, track enhancements, and collaborate with technical teams
Strong knowledge of agency guidelines, compliance standards, and mortgage disclosure requirements
Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
Effective conflict management and negotiation skills, with confidence working across business and technical stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, for analysis, documentation, and reporting
Your Daily Tasks
Work with stakeholders to gather technical requirements for requests and projects
Create the technical story in JIRA including QA testing criteria
Review the technical request with the IT team
Establish and maintain effective business relations with internal and external partners
Ensure completion and success of customer support across multiple projects
Facilitate and troubleshoot challenges associated with the request
Set clear expectations with stakeholders
Translate business requests into user stories for tech teams
Provide technical and management advice while gathering requirements
Assist with preparing materials and documents for audits and reviews
Facilitate meetings to gather requirements; present and participate in meetings as needed
Summarize project information, establish business needs, and communicate clearly with high-level leadership
Perform other duties as assigned
