Job Description

As a Default Analytics Specialist, you will strengthen the Credit Risk team by analyzing delinquency trends, improving collections effectiveness, optimizing outbound strategies, and driving recoveries through data-driven experimentation and performance insights across the full collections lifecycle.

The Qualifications We Seek

3 to 5 years of relevant experience

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into measurable operational outcomes

Experience in collections analytics, credit risk, delinquency, recovery, or agency strategy

Solid understanding of collections KPIs and performance metrics

Experience with experimentation (A/B testing, champion/challenger) and uplift measurement

Advanced quantitative analysis and root-cause problem-solving skills

Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently extract and analyze data

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools such as Tableau

Comfort working with large datasets and automation-driven analytics

Python or R is a strong advantage

Experience with dialer or CCaaS analytics (e.g., NICE CXone) and outbound campaign operations

Knowledge of agency management, vendor performance, and collections ROI metrics

Your Daily Tasks

Own ongoing monitoring of delinquency and recovery performance across segments, products, channels, and strategies

Identify performance drivers and deliver actionable recommendations to improve collections outcomes

Design and run champion/challenger and A/B tests, including hypothesis definition, success metrics, and impact measurement

Develop and refine segmentation and treatment strategies based on DPD, ability or willingness to pay, and contactability

Optimize contact strategies, dialer configurations, and strategy rules in partnership with Collections Operations

Monitor and optimize internal and external agency performance, including recovery, cost, and aging metrics

Build and apply analytical models such as propensity, contactability, and expected value to guide strategy and placement decisions
