Job Description

Document Controller - BPSS Onsite
Catterick (Marne Barracks)
Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
2-Year Contract (Strong Potential for Permanent Role)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major construction project based full-time on site at Marne Barracks, Catterick.

This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile project, offering stability and the potential to move into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage and maintain project document control systems in line with company, client and project requirements

  • Control, issue, receive and archive drawings, technical documents and project correspondence

  • Maintain accurate document registers, logs and transmittals

  • Ensure controlled copies of latest approved documents are distributed to the correct teams, subcontractors and suppliers

  • Support project teams with document management, audits and quality checks

  • Maintain both electronic and hard-copy document libraries in line with company standards

    • Requirements

  • Proven Document Controller experience within construction or engineering projects

  • Strong experience using Viewpoint (essential)

  • Knowledge of GliderBIM preferred but not essential

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident using electronic document management systems

  • Able to work site-based 5 days per week

    • Security & Clearance

  • BPSS clearance not required upfront - the client will sponsor this

  • The role may require SC clearance in the future, which will be sponsored by the client (candidate must be willing to consent to checks)
