Direct Builders Merchants (DBM) is a general merchanting business trading from three branches in Sittingbourne, Whitstable and Ashford in Kent. It had revenues of 拢4.8m in 2013.
Grafton did not disclose what it paid but said the bolt-on acquisition would improve its coverage of the merchanting market in the southeast of England.
Grafton is an Irish company that also owns Plumbase, Buildbase, Selco, among other chains and outlets.
