Fiona Perrin brings two decades of industry experience from the merchanting and tool hire sectors to Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS).
She has been chairman of the Independent Builders Merchant Group in its early days and a managing director at HSS Hire.
Relevant to JPS, whose customers are in public sector housing, she鈥檚 been a non-executive director at housing association Coastline Housing as well as Sentry Doors, whose fire doors are used in social housing. In addition, she鈥檚 had roles at the European Rental Association, site tech specialist Reactec, and Parker Building Supplies.
Perrin reports to Stark UK chief executive John Carter and joins the UK executive team.
Elsewhere in the group, chief logistics officer Ranald Forbes will support Jewson Major Build Solutions (MBS), which will continue to be led by Fraser Neve as managing director.
Neil Grindley, as national operations director for strategic projects, will assume responsibility for Normans, supporting Martina McGibney as managing director of the Jersey-based business.
Perrin had been providing consultancy services to the Stark commercial team for eight months before her full-time appointment.
As a result of the reorganisation, Stark UK business development director Mark Esling is leaving the business.
