Barhale chief executive Martin Brown has promoted Phil Cull from southern regional director to a new role as national executive director.
Cull has led Barhale鈥檚 southern region operations since joined the company in 2013. He will now be on Barhale鈥檚 strategic board of directors.
Cull鈥檚 previous responsibilities are being split between Shane Gorman and Daniel Meadowcroft.
Shane Gorman has been promoted from water director to southern region director 鈥� infrastructure. Gorman joined Barhale in 2005 as a senior engineer from Aecom and has progressed through a series of leadership roles, most recently becoming water director in 2022.
Daniel Meadowcroft, currently 鈥榩rojects director, southern region鈥�, has been promoted to the rather similar sounding 鈥榮outhern region director 鈥� projects鈥�. Meadowcroft joined Barhale in 2020 as regional manager after 22 years with McNicholas; he was appointed projects director in 2022.
Both Gorman and Meadowcroft will join the operations board and report to James Ingamells, the newly appointed chief operating executive.
Chief executive Martin Brown said the appointments recognised both the contribution of the individuals and the company鈥檚 approach to investing in its people.
