A 294-room hotel will be built on a former brownfield site on Worple Road in the centre of Wimbledon.
Over the course of the project, which is due to be delivered in summer 2028, the development is expected to generate 拢40m revenue for Watkin Jones.
This is the second development partnership that Watkin Jones has entered into with Latium Enterprises, following a scheme in New Kent Road in London, announced in January 2025.
Watkin Jones is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification for the scheme.
