WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff engineers are providing inspection and surveillance planning services including assurance, quality, control and audit services on the sub-sea high voltage cable and the offshore platform that are currently under construction.聽
The project is a joint equity partnership of 25% each between RWE Innogy UK, UK Green Investment Bank, Siemens Financial Services and Macquarie Capital.
Galloper Wind Farm Ltd (GWFL) is the sister project to the up-and-running Greater Gabbard wind farm. It is scheduled to begin operation in March 2018. The 56 Siemens wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6MW, will generate up to 336MW that will be transmitted to an onshore substation at Sizewell via the sub-sea high voltage cable.
